Ninja Wall Hopper — Privacy Policy

Ninja Wall Hopper ("the app") is a single-player wall-jump platformer with an optional global leaderboard. This page explains what information the app collects, why, and how it's used.

Information we collect

The app does not require an account, a real name, an email address, or any sign-in. When you opt into the global leaderboard by finishing a level, the app stores and transmits:

• A random device identifier. The first time the leaderboard is used, the app generates a random ID on your device (not tied to your Apple ID, IDFA, or any hardware identifier). It's stored locally so the app can recognize its own leaderboard entry.
• A nickname. Either one you type in, or a randomly generated default (e.g. "Ninja4821") if you skip that step. This is shown publicly next to your score.
• Your score. The highest score you've achieved, shown publicly on the leaderboard.

Your local high score, sound/music preferences, and other in-app settings are stored only on your device (via standard local app storage) and are never transmitted anywhere.

How this information is used

The device ID, nickname, and score are used solely to display the global leaderboard inside the app and to let your device update its own entry. We do not use this data for advertising, do not build user profiles, and do not track you across other apps or websites.

Third-party service providers

Leaderboard data is stored using Supabase, a database hosting provider. Supabase acts as our data processor and does not use leaderboard data for its own purposes. No other third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are included in the app.

Data sharing and sale

We do not sell or share your information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Your choices

The leaderboard is entirely optional — the game is fully playable offline without it. You can:

• Skip the nickname prompt to use a randomly generated one instead of a chosen name.
• Delete the app to remove all locally stored data from your device.
• Email us at knockout100@yahoo.com to request removal of a specific leaderboard entry.

Reporting a nickname

If you see a nickname on the leaderboard that's offensive or inappropriate, please report it to knockout100@yahoo.com and we will remove it.

Children's privacy

Ninja Wall Hopper is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The information collected (a random ID, a self-chosen nickname, and a score) is not sufficient to identify any individual.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly.
